Provides receptionist, data entry and clerical services to nursing units. Duties include, but are not limited to, entering physician orders into clinical system; preparing charts for new patients arriving on the unit; coordinating all phone calls made to physicians, families, interdisciplinary departments and other health care agencies; and maintaining inventory of unit supplies.


  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Medical terminology/medical office experience required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support required within six (6) months of hire and renewals obtained every two (2) years
  • Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team

Reaching at waist; Sitting; Typing; Filing; Kneeling/stooping; Bending; Climbing; Standing; Walking; Reaching above shoulder, below waist; Lifting/pushing or pulling up to and greater than 40 pounds.
