Responsible for properly setting up patient, calibrating equipment, trouble-shooting problems and performing according to department protocol. Reports directly to the Clinical Director and supervises the Sleep Center staff.

Operating Room Assistant (ORA) functions as a member of the Perioperative Service team under the direct supervision of a RN.  Responsible for transporting patients from their rooms to surgery, from one area to another within the department of surgical services and the hospital.  Responsible for assisting in general cleaning and room turnover, running errands, relaying messages, and assisting with basic patient care.

Performs clerical duties related to billing and collection of patient accounts.  Position will work alongside Government Group to facilitate Medicaid and related payor billing.
