Transports patients to and from Triage as directed. Provides supportive nursing assistance to licensed professionals by performing assigned duties and services required to deliver quality patient care. Follows established standards: Joint Commission, and CSHS policies and procedures. A patient focused care model utilizing a multidisciplinary approach is used as the method to deliver care in the department. Attends system-wide orientation and nursing orientation.  

Registers and schedules patients according to established procedures. Pre-screens patients to determine accurate financial responsibilities. Secures all legal consents and insurance information and obtains pre-certification authorization as appropriate.

Housekeeper II will follow environmental services cleaning protocols. Required terminal and isolation cleaning including COVID19 isolation areas. Required use of disinfecting agents including but not limited to alcohol based, bleach based and peroxide based products. Moderate pushing and pulling. Standing for extending period of time required. Performs general cleaning duties and related services in-Resident and non-Resident areas.

Registered Nurge administers nursing care to assigned patients that is in accordance with ANA standards, the NJ Practice Act, Joint Commission and established hospital and Nursing Department policy and procedures. - Assists physician by monitoring patients during cardiac testing procedures. - Recognizes adverse reactions to medications and takes immediate and appropriate actions. -

The Patient Transporter transports patients to and from ancillary departments and nursing units as directed.
